It was a gorgeous evening for a drive and the odometer turned over to 99,999 just as we reached our favorite moose-head-over-the-mantle Lodge. So we went in, had a couple Lodge brews, then headed back down the mountain and watched the odometer hit 100,000 with the glittering lights of the valley below. We drove this car across the country from Naples, Florida nine years ago ($181 for gas) and I love it and intend to drive it forever . . .
